La Encina

La Encina is a five-year old house of 130 m2 built in a traditional rustic Andalucian style, with hand-made terracotta tiled floors and cane and wooden beamed ceilings. It is named after the old Holm Oak tree at the entrance to the house and is situated in the hills above Lake Viñuela and Velez-Malaga, enjoying wonderful views of the sea and surrounding hills and mountains.

N.B. the house is larger than it looks in photographs!

There are free-standing fans in the bedrooms and mosquito screens on all the windows.

Outside there are is a sunny terraced area around the walled free-shaped pool which has a depth throughout of 1.5 metres, and a shaded terrace with large built-in barbecue and table for al fresco dining. There is also a boules area and an all-weather badminton court.
